am looking for the name of a tune, I tried searching it on this site, but it says "no matches found". If I get the ABC right (I'm not at all fluent with ABC...), it's a jig, which I play in Edorian :
The first part goes like this
EEE BAF# F#EB AF#D EEE BAF# dAF# F#ED
I'm quite sure it's a well known tune, but the name keeps slipping.
anyone can tell me ?
Thanks a lot

Re: name of a tune
Is it an odd version of "Morrison's" or "Whelan's"? Who did you learn it from ?

thanks Ceol !
I'll be probably playing that jig with one of my groups... got three going at the moment, hell of a time arranging for rehearsals and gigs... so all's well.
sure hope it's the same for you
all the best !
ps : if you feel like listening to what I'm up to musically, I've put some music on Myspace : you can get there if you put either : Loch Léman Ceilidh Band, Filidh Ruadh or Filigrane, or through my site... (www, tympanon.ch)
