Lots of box talk lately.
Not to be difficult, but it's not hard to work out what the notes are for any of the boxes - B/C, C#/D, whatever you like, and it's worth doing (as is worth working out the layout of any instrument on your own).
If you know a little theory, you can start with this: it's a repeating major triad all the way up on the push, and then you fill in the other notes on the draw. There's only one way they all fit, and it's the same pattern for each row (with different notes, of course).
That should get you there if you're familiar with scales at all. If not, try the C row: there are no sharps or flats there, so it's C, E, and G on the push, and the others (A, B, D, and F) on the draw. There's plenty of people here to help you get the other rows if you need: they'll be one step flat and one step sharp of the C row.
thanks.... after 30 years of diatonic box playing, it's nice to have a course on the display... lol !
I'm joking of course, thanks for taking the trouble ! I did that already, but I wanted to know if t'was correct : some 2 row boxes have 23 buttons, others 21, so I want to know the number of buttons on the Gaelic 3 row, and where it starts (1rst notes on the lowest of the scale...)
Nikita - That link from Brian G doesn't seem to be working, so I will email you the layout of a Hohner Echo 3row B/C/C#. 34 treble buttons. The same layout as the Gaelic IVS only three buttons short at the high notes end. The Gaelic IVS is a three row B/C/C# - 37 treble buttons - 90 bass. 4 sets of reeds/Two treble registers and one repeat. The bottom note on the C row is c/f and the top note is also c/f. They use to make them in red and black and the keyboard had a lovely action. You can see one being played here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZMgyrngUik.
This time here is the website address. Just clikc on Keyboard layouts to find a variety of layouts including the BCC#. Hope it works this time. Good luck.

Sorry about that - obviously, I assumed you were a beginner, and obviously I was wrong.
