Wonder what Harry or Marcas would do with these?

Wonder what Harry or Marcas would do with these?

Europe's Oldest Musical Instruments!

"A Little Flute Music To Warm The Cave.":

So Neanderthal Man did have culture after all.

Looks like we'll have to think of another nickname for today's knuckle-dragging yobbos!

"They date back 35,000 to 40,000 years, making them the oldest undisputed musical instruments."

Of course, according to some folks, that means they must pre-date the World itself by about 30,000 years .... now that's some trick!
I don't think even David Copperfield could match that one! ;-)

Cheers

But would it be traditional enough for TMacM?

Perhaps Bogman, but only if they played them ....... one at a time! ;-)

Re: Wonder what Harry or Marcas would do with these?

I suppose they're not counting hands and feet as musical instruments, then?

...so we were trying to have our nice quiet session in the corner of the pub, me and my nice Neanderthal friends, when in walks a crowd of loud obnoxious Rampithicus Austrailiopithicus bastards in football jerseys. They ruined the whole night!

Fascinating.

A friend of mine very recently said that to him flutes seemed to be the most basic, earthly instrument. Seems to be true so!

ps - and he meant 'basic' in a good way
