Scottish Traditional Musicians (Regional Guides)
On this new site, each member has their own page where they can:
1 ~ POST PHOTOS of their Scottish Music experiences and instruments.
2 ~ POST MP3s of their own Scottish Music.
3 ~ POST VIDEOS of themselves playing Scottish Music.
4 ~ NETWORK with other musicians who play Scottish Music.
N.B. Non members only have access to the Main Page, which means all members music, photos etc is private, so only other members can view or listen to it.
I imagine this new site might prove to be most useful & popular, among musicians who are far from the auld sod, or are rather isolated from other Scottish Musicians.

Spiro (Music Groups)
A 4-piece folk band (fiddle, piano accordion, guitar, mandolin) of 16 years standing, based in the West of England. Much of their music is based on English North Country folk tunes, and is all composed by the band. There is no "solo" playing in their music and the sound is of a complexity and richness that gives the impression that the band is larger than its four members. The ensemble playing of the four is more like that of a professional string quartet than anything else. In the recording studio they play as if they were playing live on stage, and there is no dubbing on any of the tracks.
